How the Easter date is calculated
Western churches celebrate Easter on the first Sunday after the ecclesiastical full moon on or after March 21, so it always falls between March 22 and April 25. This page uses the standard Gregorian computus. Orthodox churches use the same rule on the Julian calendar, so their Easter is often one to five weeks later, and sometimes on the same day.
